Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Saman Alishahi, doing business as Sam Alishahi, Insurance Broker (California Insurance License #4348151), collects, uses and protects information you give through alishahiinsurance.com, the quote-request form, the intake phone line and text messages. In this policy, “I”, “me” and “my” refer to Sam Alishahi.
Information I collect
- Contact details: your name, business name, phone number, email address and ZIP code.
- Risk and underwriting details you choose to share, such as property addresses, occupancy, construction and roof year, vehicles and drivers, payroll and class codes, current coverage, claims history and renewal dates.
- Call and message records: when you call the intake line, the call may be answered by an automated intake assistant and recorded and transcribed so I can review your request accurately.
- Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
How I use it
- To respond to your request, prepare applications and get quotes from insurance companies and wholesale brokers.
- To bind, service and renew policies, and to send certificates, evidence of insurance and policy documents to you, your lender or escrow when you ask me to.
- To contact you by phone, email or, if you opted in, text message about your request and your policies.
- To meet legal, licensing and recordkeeping obligations.
Who I share it with
I share your information only as needed to place and service your insurance: with insurance companies, managing general agents, wholesale and surplus lines brokers, premium finance companies, and parties you direct me to, such as your lender, escrow officer or property manager. I also use service providers that help me run the business, including form processing, email, phone and text-message delivery, under their own confidentiality obligations. I don’t sell your personal information.
Text messaging and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver the messages on my behalf. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. See the SMS Terms.
How I protect it
I keep your information in access-controlled accounts and systems, and only for as long as needed to serve you and meet insurance recordkeeping requirements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don’t send Social Security numbers or bank details through the website form.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may have rights under California law, including the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act, to know what personal information I hold about them, to access and correct it, and in some cases to request its deletion. I’ll verify your identity before acting on a request, and I won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children
This site isn’t directed to children under 16, and I don’t knowingly collect their information online.
Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
