I place homes, rentals, vehicles and businesses for clients across the country, from my office in Beverly Hills, and shop each one across 110+ insurance companies and specialty markets, including surplus lines and Lloyd’s. My specialties are the risks other offices turn away: wildfire-zone and non-renewed homes, high-value homes, investors’ rental property, contractors and trucking.

For homes from $3M to well past $10M. I build coverage from a real replacement-cost estimate, not the assessor’s record, and I place homes the admitted market won’t take.

Process
From first call to bound policy
Tell me about the risk
Call the intake line or send the form below. It takes about 30 seconds to send, and the details underwriters ask for first can come later from your application link: the address and occupancy, roof year and construction, or payroll and vehicles for a business.
I shop the market
I go to admitted carriers first and to surplus lines when the standard market says no. You get the options side by side, and I walk you through the limits, deductibles and exclusions, not just the premium.
You choose, I bind
I bind the policy and handle the paperwork: certificates, evidence of insurance, lender endorsements, and a review every year before your renewal.
When your insurance is tied to a purchase, a refinance or a lender’s closing conditions, I know what the escrow officer and the lender’s insurance desk will ask for, and I get the evidence of insurance right the first time.

“I have worked with Sam Alishahi for my property insurance and business insurance needs for several years, and I look forward to our continued professional relationship.”
“I’ve worked with Sam on insurance for multiple properties, and what I appreciate most is that he doesn’t take a one size fits all approach. He takes the time to understand the property, the situation, and what you actually need.”
“I had a great experience working with Saman on my California FAIR Plan. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process very easy.”

Questions
Before you call
Are you an agent for one company?
No. I’m an independent broker with access to 110+ insurance companies and specialty markets, admitted and surplus lines, so I shop your risk instead of fitting it into one company’s appetite.
What does it cost to use a broker?
Usually nothing extra, because the carrier pays the commission. Some surplus lines policies carry a broker fee. If yours does, I’ll tell you in writing before you buy.
What is a surplus lines policy?
A surplus lines policy is written by a nonadmitted insurer when the licensed market won’t take the risk. It’s common for wildfire-zone, vacant, older or very high-value properties. These insurers aren’t backed by the California Insurance Guarantee Association, and I explain the trade-off before you choose.
Who answers the phone?
An AI intake assistant answers the line 24/7 and collects your details. Every request gets its application link right away and an update at every step; the quotes come straight from the insurance companies, side by side. The assistant never quotes or binds coverage.
Do you help clients outside California?
Yes. Send your request the same way, from any state. I'm licensed in 49 states and Washington, DC and your request stays with my agency, not passed to another agent. In Florida, where my licenses are still being issued, a partner agency in your state helps in the meantime.
I was non-renewed. How fast can you help?
Call as soon as the notice arrives. The more time before your expiration date, the more markets I can shop. If you’re within a few days, tell the intake assistant it’s urgent.
