Off the road, still insured.
Liability, collision and theft coverage for ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, snowmobiles and golf carts, which a homeowners policy usually won't cover away from home.

Homeowners policies exclude most motor vehicles
Most homeowners policies exclude motorized vehicles, or cover them only on your own property. A crash on a trail or a golf cart accident in your community is often not covered.
A recreational vehicle policy covers the machine itself and your liability if someone is hurt. Low-speed vehicles driven on public streets must be registered and insured like a car.

- CollisionDamage from a crash or rollover.

What underwriters will ask
Having these ready means I can go to market on the first call. The quote form asks for the same things, and anything you don’t know yet can wait.
- Riders: names, dates of birth and driver's license numbers.
- Vehicles: type, year, make, model and value.
- Use: your property, trails, dunes or streets.
- Registration: OHV sticker or street registration.
- Storage: where it's kept.
- Current coverage: any policy you have now.
ATV and golf cart insurance, answered
Does homeowners insurance cover my ATV?
Usually not away from your property, and sometimes not at all. A separate recreational vehicle policy is the reliable way to cover it.
Do I need insurance for a golf cart?
It depends on where it's driven. Low-speed vehicles on public streets must be registered and insured, and even off the street, a golf cart accident can bring a liability claim.
Are passengers covered?
Passenger injury coverage depends on the policy. I'll confirm before you buy.
Can I insure a UTV used on a ranch?
Yes. Tell me how it's used so it's rated correctly.
Do you offer ATV, UTV and golf cart insurance outside California?
Yes. Clients across the country send the same quote form. California policies are placed directly; outside California the request is handled together with a partner agency in your state, and the shopping across carriers works the same way. Rules, minimums and markets differ by state — see insurance requirements by state.
Send the machines. I'll shop it.
The type, year and value of each vehicle are enough to start.

Tell me how to reach you. I’ll take it from there.
Takes about 30 seconds. I review every request personally and call you back, usually the same day.
