Get a Quote in Claude or ChatGPT
You can ask an AI assistant to request an insurance quote from me, Sam Alishahi, without filling in a form. The assistant looks up the coverage you need, asks the same questions as the quote request form, and, once you say yes, sends your request to me. I review every request personally and follow up by phone or email, usually the same business day.
What the assistant can and can’t do
- It can list the 150+ personal and business coverages I quote and link you to each one’s page.
- It can ask the questions insurance companies need for that coverage. Every question is optional; skip anything you don’t know.
- It sends your request only after you confirm you want me to contact you.
- It can’t quote prices, compare premiums or confirm coverage. Only I can, in writing, after shopping your request with the insurance companies I work with.
Add it to Claude
- In Claude, open Customize › Connectors and choose to add a custom connector.
- Name it Alishahi Insurance and enter this URL:
https://alishahiinsurance.com/mcp - No sign-in is needed. In a chat, turn it on from + › Connectors and ask for a quote.
ChatGPT
The same connector is being submitted to OpenAI so it can be added as an app in ChatGPT. Until it’s listed, ChatGPT can still read this site and point you here; to send a request, use Claude, the quote request form, or call or text (424) 552-4545.
Things to ask
- “My homeowners insurance in Los Angeles was non-renewed. Can Alishahi Insurance help?”
- “Get me a general liability quote for my roofing company in 90034.”
- “What kinds of insurance does Alishahi Insurance quote?”
- “I need a certificate of insurance for my event venue by Friday.”
- “Insure my rental house in Glendale that’s owned by an LLC.”
For developers
The connector is a public MCP server using Streamable HTTP, with no authentication.
- Server URL:
https://alishahiinsurance.com/mcp list_coverages(read only): the coverages quoted, with a page link for each.get_quote_questions(read only): the questions for one coverage, with types and allowed choices.submit_quote_request: sends a request to Sam Alishahi. Needs name, phone, email, coverage andcontact_consent: true; one request per email and coverage per day.get_application(read only) andcomplete_application: read and finish an application Sam started from an emailed request, using theapplication_idandtokenin Sam’s reply.
The same tools are available as a REST API, described at alishahiinsurance.com/openapi.json.
Finishing an application I started from your email
If you or your assistant emailed me a quote request, my reply already has an application filled in from that email, and it lists only what insurance companies still need. Finish it whichever way is easiest:
- The link in my email: a prefilled page; fill in the highlighted details and press Send.
- Reply to the email with one answer per line, like
Year built: 1987. - Let your AI assistant finish it. The email has the application’s address and a JSON copy attached.
GET /api/agent/application?id=…&t=…returns every field, its allowed choices and what’s missing (add&format=textfor plain text);POST{"answers": {"Field name": "value"}, "submit": true}to the same address. Over MCP, useget_applicationandcomplete_applicationwith theapplication_idandtokenfrom the email.
Assistants should only send answers you gave or confirmed and leave anything unknown blank. Nothing is priced or bound by sending details; I review every application and follow up with your options.
Your information
I receive only what the assistant sends after you confirm: your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, the coverage you want and the answers you gave, not the rest of your conversation. Don’t share Social Security, driver’s license, bank or card numbers, or health details, in the chat (for life and disability insurance, I’ll ask about health myself); requests are screened to remove them. How I use and protect your information is in the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use cover requests sent this way. To correct or delete a request, see Contact and Support.
