Chiropractic malpractice and the clinic around it.

Malpractice for each chiropractor, plus general liability, property, cyber and workers' comp for the clinic, whether you practice alone or run a multi-provider office.

How it works

The adjustment and the office

Chiropractic malpractice covers claims that an adjustment or treatment caused an injury. The clinic needs its own coverage too: a patient who falls in the waiting room, a data breach of patient records, and the employees who work there.

I place chiropractors and clinics with carriers that write chiropractic, and coordinate the malpractice and business coverage so nothing falls between them.

  • MalpracticeClaims an adjustment or treatment caused an injury.
  • General liabilitySlips and falls in the clinic.
  • Cyber liabilityPatient records and billing data.
  • Workers' compFront desk staff, assistants and therapists.

Questions

Chiropractor insurance, answered

What does chiropractic malpractice cover?

Claims that your treatment caused an injury, including defense costs, up to the policy limits.

Is malpractice enough for my clinic?

No. Malpractice covers your professional work, not a patient falling in the office, the building or your employees.

Are massage therapists in my office covered?

Only if they're added. Employed therapists can usually be added; independent ones often need their own policy.

Do I need cyber liability?

If you keep patient records or take payments, a breach can trigger notification costs and claims. It's worth pricing.

Do you offer chiropractor insurance outside California?

Yes. Clients across the country send the same quote form. California policies are placed directly; outside California the request is handled together with a partner agency in your state, and the shopping across carriers works the same way. Rules, minimums and markets differ by state — see insurance requirements by state.
