Fun for guests. Covered for you.
General and liquor liability, property, equipment and workers' comp for escape rooms, axe throwing venues, billiard halls, mini golf courses and arcades.

Games, guests and a full house
Each attraction carries its own injury pattern. Axe throwing has thrown objects and bounce-backs. Escape rooms have locked spaces, low light and crowding. Mini golf has uneven ground and water features. Insurers ask about lanes, barriers, staff coaches, waivers and how you handle a guest who's had a drink.
Many of these venues also serve beer and wine, host parties and run arcades. I write liability that names every activity you offer, add liquor liability if you pour, and cover the build-out, games and electronics as property. Some activities, like axe throwing, are written mostly by specialty markets.
- General liabilityGuest injuries across every attraction.
- Liquor liabilityBeer, wine and party packages.
- PropertyBuild-out, props, games and arcade machines.
- Workers' compGame hosts, coaches and party staff.
What underwriters will ask
Having these ready means I can go to market on the first call. The quote form asks for the same things, and anything you don’t know yet can wait.
- Activities: every attraction and game you offer.
- Safety: barriers, coaches, rules and waivers.
- Alcohol: license type and share of sales.
- Venue: address, square footage, owned or leased.
- Revenue and payroll: annual figures.
- History: current policy and any incidents.
Entertainment center insurance, answered
Will one policy cover axe throwing and an arcade?
It can, but every activity must be listed. A policy written for an arcade may exclude thrown objects, so I check each attraction against the exclusions.
Do waivers matter to insurers?
Yes. Many markets require a signed waiver for axe throwing and similar activities before they'll quote. They don't stop every claim, but they help.
Can I host birthday parties and leagues?
Yes. Tell me about parties, leagues and private events so the liability and, if needed, the liquor coverage reflect them.
What if a guest gets stuck or panics in an escape room?
Injury claims from that are general liability, subject to the policy terms. Insurers like to see emergency release and camera monitoring.
Do you offer family entertainment center insurance outside California?
Yes. Clients across the country send the same quote form. Sam Alishahi is licensed in 48 states and Washington, DC and places policies there directly. In Florida and Washington, where Sam's licenses are still being issued, a partner agency in your state helps in the meantime. The shopping across carriers works the same way. Rules, minimums and markets differ by state — see insurance requirements by state.
Insure your entertainment center.
List your attractions and whether you serve alcohol, and I'll compare markets that write family entertainment venues.
