Annuity free look and age 65+
If you're buying an annuity, A.R.S. §20-1233 gives a 10-day free look after delivery, or 30 days if you're 65 or older on the application date, with a refund of all payments. For life policies, read the right-to-examine notice in the contract you receive.
Replacing a policy
Arizona's replacement article (A.R.S. §20-1241.01 and following) sets duties for producers and insurers when a new policy replaces existing coverage, including producer duties. Don't drop existing coverage until the new policy is in force and you've reviewed it.
