Method and source

Source: the Georgia insurance regulator company list, read 2026-10-18. Live 'all companies' extract from the GA OCI company search (Content-Type says ms-excel; body is tab-delimited text). Mixes P&C, life/health, HMOs, fraternals, health care corps and farmers' mutuals; the extract has no company-type column, so 'type' is derived from [LINE CODE] (P&C / Life & Health / HMO / Fraternal / Health Care Corp / Farmers Mutual / Other). No domicile column (MAILSTATE is a mailing address), so domicile is ''. 'lines' is [LINE CODE] split on ';'. 'since' is [LICENSE DATE]. A few NAIC codes repeat under the same company name (separate license records); rows are kept as given, dedupe by NAIC on merge. One '(TEST COMPANY)' record is skipped. Captives and RRGs are not in the extract. Georgia publishes no state list of eligible surplus lines insurers. Fetched https://ociapp.oci.ga.gov/Insurers/CompanyDataXL_GUA.aspx; content-type application/vnd.ms-excel; charset=utf-8; 1 rows skipped (blank name, malformed, or test record). "Premium" is direct premium written in the state for the year shown; "share" is that company's part of the state total for the line. A company can be licensed for a line and write none of it, and a surplus lines insurer can write a line without a state license for it.

Need flood in Georgia?

Someone will insure it. I find who.

Send what you need covered and what happened before. I match it to the companies that take it, down to the last-resort plan if it comes to that. I'm licensed in 48 states and Washington, DC and your request stays with my agency, not passed to another agent. In Florida and Washington, where my licenses are still being issued, a partner agency in your state helps in the meantime.
