Method and source

Source: the Missouri insurance regulator company list, read 2026-10-18 and the surplus lines list. Admitted = every ACTIVE Missouri licensee (P&C, life, health, HMO, TPA, warranty, prepaid dental, etc.); filter on type. 'type' is the license Description from each company's detail page (e.g. 'Property and Casualty (Ch 379, RSMo)'); where a detail page was not read, type comes from Missouri market-share membership and is suffixed '(market share)'. 'lines' = lines of business with non-zero direct written premium in the 2025 Missouri market share report (licensed companies only). 'domicile' is only known for companies in the market share report. 'since' = Date Admitted from the detail page. Surplus lines list carries no NAIC code; naic filled by exact normalized-name match (naic_source says where), alien = domicile not a US state code. Detail-page crawl in progress; this file will be rewritten when it finishes. "Premium" is direct premium written in the state for the year shown; "share" is that company's part of the state total for the line. A company can be licensed for a line and write none of it, and a surplus lines insurer can write a line without a state license for it.

Need flood in Missouri?

Someone will insure it. I find who.

Send what you need covered and what happened before. I match it to the companies that take it, down to the last-resort plan if it comes to that. I'm licensed in 48 states and Washington, DC and your request stays with my agency, not passed to another agent. In Florida and Washington, where my licenses are still being issued, a partner agency in your state helps in the meantime.
