Every licensed company with an NAIC code; type is the report section (Health, Life, Property & Casualty = the 'Property' auto + fire/multi-peril sections, Title; joined with '; ' when a company appears in more than one). domicile is 'ND' for the domiciled sections and blank (unknown) otherwise. The report carries no certificate-of-authority lines, only premiums by line group, so lines is always []. The 9 ND county mutuals (no NAIC code) are appended with type 'County Mutual' and since = year admitted to ND. North Dakota publishes no surplus lines eligibility list. Section counts: Health domiciled 2 (report 2); Health non-domiciled 65 (report 65); Life domiciled 3 (report 3); Life non-domiciled 406 (report 406); Property domiciled 13 (report 13); Property non-domiciled 826 (report 826); Property domiciled 13 (report 13); Property non-domiciled 826 (report 826); Title non-domiciled 18 (report 18); County Mutual 9 (report 9). "Premium" is direct premium written in the state for the year shown; "share" is that company's part of the state total for the line. A company can be licensed for a line and write none of it, and a surplus lines insurer can write a line without a state license for it.

Need medical malpractice in North Dakota?

Someone will insure it. I find who.

Send what you need covered and what happened before. I match it to the companies that take it, down to the last-resort plan if it comes to that. I'm licensed in 48 states and Washington, DC and your request stays with my agency, not passed to another agent. In Florida and Washington, where my licenses are still being issued, a partner agency in your state helps in the meantime.
