Method and source

Source: the Nebraska insurance regulator company list, read 2026-10-18. Nebraska DOI 'Summary of Insurance Business' for statistical year 2024 (companies that reported Nebraska business, split by category: Property and Casualty, Title, Life, Health, Fraternal; each domestic or foreign). 'type' carries the category so the merge can filter to Property and Casualty. 'lines' = lines of business with non-zero 2024 Nebraska direct premium written or earned on the company's summary page (activity, not the certificate of authority); empty for categories without detail (--detail prop). 'since' = YEAR LICENSED from the summary page when the Department shows one (often blank). 'aka' = other names the list shows for the same NAIC code (former names). Domestic rows default domicile NE. No surplus-lines list on this source. "Premium" is direct premium written in the state for the year shown; "share" is that company's part of the state total for the line. A company can be licensed for a line and write none of it, and a surplus lines insurer can write a line without a state license for it.

Need credit in Nebraska?

Someone will insure it. I find who.

Send what you need covered and what happened before. I match it to the companies that take it, down to the last-resort plan if it comes to that. I'm licensed in 48 states and Washington, DC and your request stays with my agency, not passed to another agent. In Florida and Washington, where my licenses are still being issued, a partner agency in your state helps in the meantime.
